How To Integrate With Smily

Use Alertify's integration functions to simplify

Integrate Smily with Alertify so you know which guests are staying in your units when a violation occurs and have key guest information included on Alertify's after-incident reports.



Smily (formerly BookingSync) is a comprehensive vacation rental management platform that helps property managers handle bookings, channel distribution, and guest communication — all in one place. Connect your Alertify account with Smily to automatically pull guest and reservation data into your monitoring system and streamline your property monitoring workflow.


With the Smily integration, you can:


  • Map units from Smily to units in your Alertify dashboard.

  • See which guests were in the unit where a violation took place.

  • Ensure key guest information is included in Alertify's after-incident reports.


Prerequisites:


  1. An active Alertify dashboard account connected to your property.

  2. Alertify devices installed and connected to Wi-Fi in your properties.

  3. An active Smily (BookingSync) account.


How to connect Alertify with Smily:


  1. Login to your Alertify dashboard account.

  2. Navigate to 'Integrations' on the left menu.

  3. Select 'Smily' from the list of integration options.

  4. Press the 'Connect' button in the top right corner.

  5. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.

  6. You'll be taken to the Smily authorization page. If prompted, log in with your Smily credentials.

  7. You'll be asked to grant Alertify access to your bookings and rental data. Simply approve the request.

  8. You'll then be redirected back to the Alertify dashboard and your integration will be successful.


Units Import:


To make sure your units were successfully imported from Smily, simply click on the Smily integration again in your Alertify dashboard and navigate to the 'Link Unit' tab at the top of the page. Here you'll see a list of units imported from Smily. If the units' buttons say 'Unlink', you'll know that your units are linked successfully and your after-incident reports will pull the correct guest information into the reports generated under the 'Alerts' tab.


To link a unit, simply click the 'Link' button, select a unit in your Smily account and click on the button 'Create a link'.
