Please Note: Guest Alerts are available only on PMS platforms such as Tokeet, Hospitable, iGMS, Hostaway, and Guesty. If your PMS does not support SMS, Guest Alerts will not be able to send SMS notifications to your guests.

š ļø How to Activate Guest Alerts
Follow these simple steps to set up Guest Alerts on your Alertify dashboard:
Step 1: Log In
š Access your Alertify dashboard and log in.
Step 2: Navigate to Guest Alerts
š Select āGuest Alertsā from the left-hand toolbar.
Step 3: Enable Guest Alerts

Click āEnable Guest Alertsā to activate the feature.
Step 4: Customize Messages
š Click āMessagesā at the top.
āļø Choose Noise or Smoke notifications, then click the pencil icon to edit your message.
Step 5: Link & Verify Units
š” Click āUnitsā to confirm that all properties are properly linked.

Ensure Guest Alerts are enabled for each unit.

1ļøā£ My Guest Alerts are not sending. What should I do?
You may not have linked your units.
Follow these steps to link them:
1ļøā£ After integrating your PMS, go to āIntegrationsā in your dashboard.
2ļøā£ Click your PMS provider, then select āLink Unitā.
3ļøā£ Choose āLinkā and match the unit from your PMS with your Alertify dashboard.
4ļøā£ Wait 5 minutesāGuest Alerts should now work!

Check the āEnable Guest Alertsā toggle is switched ON in the Guest Alerts tab.
2ļøā£ Guest names are not showing in reports. Why?
It may take time to update.
- If it has been less than 5 minutes since integration, allow more time.
Your PMS may have data restrictions.
- Some PMS platforms restrict access to guest names & emails via API.
3ļøā£ How do schedules work in Guest Alerts?
Customize notification schedules!
- Enable Guest Alerts only during specific hours (e.g., only at night for party prevention).
