How to Factory Reset Your Alertify Device

If you're experiencing connectivity issues or need to start fresh with your Alertify device, performing a factory reset is a quick and effective solution. Follow the steps below to safely reset your device and prepare it for a new setup.

Step 1: Locate the Reset Pin Hole
Find the small hole at the bottom of the device - this is the reset port.

Step 2: Prepare the Device
Ensure the device is plugged into a power socket. It must remain powered throughout the reset process.

Step 3: Insert a Pin
Take a pin or paperclip and gently insert it into the reset hole.

Step 4: Hold for 30 Seconds or Until LEDs Flash Blue
Keep the pin pressed in for at least 30 seconds or until you hear a buzzing sound AND see all the LEDs flash blue.
⚠️ Important: Do not remove the pin early - even if the devices buzzes, wait until the LEDs flash blue.

Step 5: Remove the Pin
Once the LEDs flash blue, remove the pin.

Step 6: Wait for Reset Completion
After a short delay (a few seconds to one minute), a WiFi network named "Alertify AP" will appear in your list of available WiFi networks.
This confirms the reset was successful and the device is ready to be set up again.
