Alertify has been designed to monitor the noise, indoor smoke, and occupancy levels of standard-size entertainment spaces on your property. Since most guest violations occur in group settings, it is important to monitor the common spaces of your properties, as this is where they will most likely take place. If the common space on your property is outdoors, please be aware that Alertify is unsuitable for outdoor use.

In your common space, we recommend installing your Alertify device behind a piece of furniture, such as a TV stand, couch, or cabinets. In a concealed location, your Alertify device will still be able to pick up on indoor smoking, excessive noise, and elevated occupancy. It is best to keep the device in a hidden location only to ensure guests do not tamper with it. When the device is tampered with, you will receive a notification alerting you to this, and a backup battery will turn on. The backup battery keeps your Alertify device connected to Wi-Fi for a few hours after becoming unplugged.

If your property has more than one indoor common space, we recommend purchasing at least one Alertify device per entertainment space. This will ensure you have coverage across every part of your property that may be a party risk.
