How To Integrate With Hospitable

Use Alertify's integration functions to simplify

Integrating Hospitable with Alertify ensures that you know which guests are in your units. Set Alertify to automatically message your guests if indoor smoking or excessive noise is detected, and have key guest information included on Alertify’s after-incident reports.

PLEASE NOTE: Hospitable does not support sending messages through an integration. As a result, the Alertify GuestAlert feature is not supported

Here’s how to integrate Hospitable with Alertify:

Prerequisites:
  1. An active Alertify account connected to your property

  2. Alertify devices installed and connected to Wi-Fi in your properties


How to integrate Alertify with Hospitable:

On Hospitable…
  1. Log into your Hospitable account and go to the Hospitable Apps page

  2. Scroll down to ‘Tools’ and click on ‘API Keys’

  3. Click the ‘+ Add New’ button. This will generate a unique API key, with a Client ID and Client secret.

  4. Double-check that ‘read calendar permission’ remains selected, and that ‘write calendar’ remains unselected

  5. Name your API Key ‘Alertify’ (this step is optional, but we highly recommend doing this)


On Alertify…

  1. Log into your Alertify account and navigate to the ‘Integrations” tab

  2. Locate the Hospitable logo and click on it

  3. Click on the “connect” button in the top right corner, and agree to the terms and conditions

  4. Enter your Client ID and Client secret from your Hospitable API and click “Continue”

  5. If the connection was successful, you can now begin linking your Alertify units to your Hospitable units
