Monitoring your property should be easy and convenient. That is why with Alertify, you can customize your device's notifications and monitoring thresholds. Here is how you can customize these items to your every need:
Step 2: Click on your unit's name, and navigate to your monitoring settings on the right-hand side.
Step 3: In your general settings, you can choose which alert type to receive by switching the blue buttons on and off. You can also choose whether to receive notifications via text, email, or both.
Step 1: In your monitoring settings, click on "noise" on the left-hand side.
Step 2: Underneath "Noise Threshold," you can click the bar and enter the maximum noise decibel level allowed to be made for a certain amount of time. Just so you know, a normal conversation is registered at 60db.
Step 3: Below your noise threshold, you can set a time limit. If your noise threshold were set to 65 db and your time limit set to 15 minutes, you would receive your first notification if the noise levels exceeded 65 decibel levels for a consistent period of 15 minutes. You can change this time limit to be as fast as 5 minutes or as long as 60.
Step 4: You can set up to two follow-up notifications with their own periods. It is important to remember that the follow-up notifications are timed from the first notification and not the beginning of the noise violation.
Step 5: If there is a certain time of day you would like to overrule your noise threshold, you can do this with the Custom Time Rules. Your custom time rules are set accordingly when you have put in a time range and new threshold. The new threshold should be high so you don't receive noise notifications.
Step 3: If there is a certain time of day you don't want to receive smoking notifications, you can add a custom time rule.
Step 1: In your monitoring settings, navigate to the "occupancy" tab on the left-hand side
Step 2: Below "Maximum Occupancy," you can enter the number of your property's maximum guests allowed. It is important to note that you will not receive a notification if there is one additional guest on your property. You will be notified if we have reason to believe there may be a large crowd present due to elevated occupancy levels.
Step 3: You can add up to two follow-up notifications to receive if we have reason to believe there may be a large group present on your property.
Step 1: In your monitoring settings, navigate to the "temperature" tab on the left-hand side
Step 2: Underneath "Temperature Detection," you can set the minimum and maximum temperature for your property. If the temperature in your property rises above or drops below your set temperature range, you will receive a notification.
Step 3: You can add a custom time rule to your temperature monitoring by adding the times and temperatures you would like it to apply to, so you do not receive temperature notifications
