How to change the unit my device is connected to
Follow these easy steps below to change the unit your device is connected to
1. Login to your Alertify account
2. Select ‘Devices’ on the left menu bar
3. Select the pencil icon next to your unit name that you want to change
4. Under ‘Unit Name’ select the dropdown menu and click on the unit you want this device connected to
5. Click on ‘Save Changes’ and you have successfully changed your device’s unit
6. Once this is done, head to ‘Integrations’ on the left menu bar and Select the PMS you are connected to.
7. Select ‘Link Units’ and find the unit you would like to link and select ‘Link’.
8. Select the unit you wish to connect and click “Link Unit”.
8. Your unit should now say “Unlink” which means it is successfully connected. Make sure that all of your units are linked to ensure your violation reports populate with guest data, guest alerts are active and the screening portal works.
Once your units are linked, rest assured Alertify will do the rest!
